I'm always looking to put Good cars in the hands of Good people, so here is one really Good car! A 67 SS Chevelle Convertible that has belonged to my good friend for over 30 years and now it needs a new caretaker... Could it be you?

This is an (R1) code Bolero Red with White Top 67 SS Convertible (13867), with its correct Factory Lower White Stripe, Black Bucket Seats (763B) and Console. Currently it has a non original but date code correct '67 396/350hp engine with Turbo 400 Automatic transmission (2Z) and it still has its original 12 Bolt 3.08:1 posi rear.

When my friend started this frame off restoration 15 years ago, the intent was to do the car to a high level but to be able to drive it, enjoy it and not just trailer it around.

Emphasis on the intent...

From a sheet metal standpoint, this one still retains its original quarter panels and doors, though NOS front fenders were used during the restoration. The rest of the build consisted of a combination of NOS and OEM parts throughout, and some, when needed, reproduction parts.

Options include Gauges and Blinker Tach, Deluxe Seat Belts, Tilt Steering, Headrests, Power Steering, Power Top and Power Disc Brakes. Though the visual under the hood is a mostly stock engine bay, even retaining an original Harrison Radiator, the original cast iron exhaust manifolds were retired for a set HOOKER COMPETITION CERAMIC COATED Headers, so this Big Block could breathe and breathe she does. Now, because the engine is not its original, my friend took some liberties when building this 396 and lets just say....she runs STRONG!  With a better-than-stock cam and good tuning, it's estimated to be a 13 second 1/4 mile car, though at its core she's just a pretty street car.

As is the case for all of his cars, it's been babied, garaged and well cared for.  Its got maybe 800 miles on it since total completion 5 years ago. The paint is still Excellent, Very clean and detailed Top to Bottom, this 67 gets a lot of looks when it does get out.  It was not built as a SHOW car but it can keep up on the show-field just as easily as it can on the street!

If you've been searching for a real deal 67 SS convertible with no questionable TRIM TAG or VIN TAG, No Stories or Vague description of what it is or what it's like in person, this 67 will not disappoint.  I have personally verified the car as a Real SS and the TRIM and VIN tag are original to the car. I love this one myself, plus it's a convertible with the creature comfort options we'd all love to have..... It is a no brainer and turn key ready.

Thank you
