Granada Gold

If you are looking for a SHOW STOPPER, I mean one that will have folks just saying WOW! If you've been searching the internet... weeding through the junk, the over priced cars... the Dealer cars.... the Lies and Scams... creative language ads and everything in between... then you should be able to quickly determine that you have finally found one that stands Head and Shoulders above anything else out there!! My primary goal is to Find Good Homes for Good Cars and my reputation within this hobby was built on being honest and transparent. I'm hoping this Good Car/Truck finds its way to your Good Home!

There’s a saying that goes “A picture is worth a thousand words” well....... I’m going to give you a bit more than one picture and a lot less than a thousand words but close! In the end, I think you will walk away with the knowledge that this is a Top Shelf Truck!!! or as I’ve been known to say “The Best of the Best”

A no shortcuts frame off restoration that was completed in 2012 by a very close friend, a well known and respected Chevelle enthusiastic who’s sole business was restoration of 1966/1967 Chevelles. Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting him or seeing the cars he's restored, they know that both were Award Winning! Although restoring these vehicles was his business, it was also in his blood and was his passion! That being said, he of course did some restorations for his own personal collection and those cars …… well, they are all Top Of The Heap! All are AACA Grand National Senior Award Winning cars. If you were at a Super Chevy Show, you need to look no further than that elite inner circle called the GOLD CLASS, to see his most current completed beauty and the crowd standing around it. Yes, these cars are all what some in the hobby call Trailer Queens, but in fact, that’s what they are.... and that’s what makes this hobby so wonderful and so broad, we all enjoy the car hobby in different ways.

Now it’s time for someone else to take over the care and ownership of one those incredible vehicles. I am humbled and proud to represent this one and I sincerely doubt you will find a nicer one For Sale.

Born at the Baltimore Assembly Plant the 4th week of June is this NOT CHEVELLE but 1967 Chevy
El Camino. I’m going to present the specs on this vehicle as you see it, how it was built/restored by my friend. I’m going to be clear in that I have no formal paperwork or documentation to say anything about the car beyond what you see is what you are buying. A Truck with a ton of Factory Available Options!!

Factory Granada Gold with Black Vinyl Top (G2), Factory AC, Power Windows, Wood Wheel, Tilt Steering, Black Bucket Seats, Deluxe Seat Belts, Console, Gauges, Blinker Tach, Speed Warning Odometer, Cruise Control, Am/Fm Radio, Spare Tire Cover, Bumper Guards, Rally Wheels, Redline Tires, Disc Brakes, 396/350hp Engine, Turbo 400 Transmission and 3.08:1 Posi Rear.

A Full Frame Off Restoration with extreme attention to detail on this first time offered AACA NATIONAL AWARD WINNING, Magazine Featured Truck. Top to Bottom, Pristine Condition. Spiral Shocks, Gardner Exhaust, Factory detail paint and chalk inspection markings and as much NOS or Original parts as could be had during its build. As to the important NUMBERS MATCHING drivetrain question we all want to know:

I’m representing this vehicle as NOT Numbers Matching for two distinct reasons. It’s my opinion that it’s probably the original engine but I believe at some point in its life prior to the current owner getting it, the engine was decked and re-stamped. It is a 406 casting Block, but with no true knowledge or documentation and with what is not an original stamping on the pad in my opinion, I feel it can only be sold as non original engine. The Turbo 400 does appear to be original to the car but again... I’m not going to knit pick and try to convince anyone of anything on this particular driveline. Every aspect of the drivetrain is rebuilt and fresh with less than 400 miles on the entire vehicle since completion. It’s been driven on to the show field, in and out of an enclosed car trailer and maintained in a climate controlled private collection.

So there you have it..... The Words that is, The Pictures.... they're below. If Elkys are your thing and you want one of the Best, you will be hard pressed to find a more impressive example in my opinion. If you are a SERIOUS Buyer, contact me directly, introduce yourself and lets see if we can get this one in your garage or your collection!
