Mike,
Just a quick note to tell you the car arrived today! No problems, No complaints, No disappointments! The Fathom Blue with White Convertible top is just outstanding! The paint is Excellent and overall the car is just as you said it would be., Very Very Nice! Thank you for everything, from answering all my questions to the patience you showed throughout the negotiation process and even with helping get the car transported to me at a great price quote and in a timely fashion.
Thanks,
Tom (NJ)

Mike,
Thank you for finding my LS6 Clone Convertible a new home! I couldn’t have done it  without you in such a short period of time! You were a calming force, a trusted adviser, a pro at separating buyers from lookers and above all else – you were incredibly patient with me!! I really appreciate all that you did for me. You definitely earned this one, buddy!! lol!! What I also found amazing was that the buyer became interested in the car because YOU were representing it. That was the very first thing he said to me when we talked. A member of your established network who has owned over 50 classic cars. Thank you again and I would recommend listing a classic car with you to anyone, regardless of year. Who knows? Maybe I’ll be back as a buyer, one day. (Don’t tell my wife!!) Take care, Mike.

Mike,
We did it! I'm not sure if you ever thought I would actually pull the trigger, but with your guidance I was able to find EXACTLY what I was looking for... Factory Black 66 SS, 396/360hp, 4 speed and all mine! You were outstanding in the entire process. Wise, patient, humorous, & most of all knowledgable! I don't think I could have trusted anyone else to do what you have done.
Thank you,
Luke R. (CO)

Hi Mike,
I would just like to say thank you again for all the help you provided. I would never have found the Butternut 67 SS on my own and to think, I made the purchase based solely on your statements of its condition and authenticity, sight unseen. I love the car and the entire transaction went very smooth with you being in my corner for the entire process! For anyone considering a collector car purchase, I would highly recommend you for assistance. Thanks Mike!
Paul C. (UT)

Mike,
Just wanted to again Thank You for all of your help in finding me my Black 67 SS. I am so appreciative for your advice and guidance throughout this process, the car is awesome and my boys love it too!

Mike,
I would like to take this moment and thank you for your help in locating and authenticating the 67 SS convertible for my wife and I. We have been waiting for this a few years! Your services to help us locate this car were great and we really appreciate your diligence in this task. We had some pretty stiff requirements that made it a bit tough but you prevailed in the end. Once this car was located, the assurances provided by you that it was what it was being advertised as made the commitment to purchase very comfortable and smooth. Thank You very much!

It was very nice having Mike handle the sale of my Bolero Red 67 Chevelle SS. I have known Mike for many years, I sold him a rare 66 Chevelle SS 18 years ago, the one called "Mystery Chevelle" and now he helped me sell my other one. He handled everything very well and I didn't have to deal with any non-potential buyers or nonsense of any kind! Mike is very interested in 66/67 Chevelles and is also very knowledgeable about them, he knows a good one when he sees it. I would highly recommend Mike Crown to any buyer or seller of a 66/67 Chevelle.
Ricky (LA)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Mike,
Where do I even begin? Thank you doesn't seem to cover it. The entire experience working with you on the sale of my Bolero Red 67 SS was just great! You priced it fair, you handled all the emails and calls and best of all, eliminated any tire kickers! Your wealth of knowledge and experience really made selling my car stress free. We will miss the car, but I'm confident the new owner will take care of it and enjoy it for years to come. Thank you so much, and I'm sure I will be reaching out to you when the time comes to fill the void in the garage with a new 67.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I started the search for my 1967 Chevelle Super Sport nearly 3 months ago I ran across so many incorrect cars that I was getting more and more cautious with every car I looked at. They all had issues of some kind., numbers not matching, trim tag issues., always one thing or another. Then out of nowhere I discovered Mike's web site and WOW!… Mike is by FAR... a walking….talking encyclopedia for Chevelle information!

He turned me on to a Marina Blue 67 SS, Numbers Matching.. Documentation, etc and as luck would have it, it was only 250 miles from my home!

What a great buying experience this has been! The seller turned out to be one of the nicest persons I have had the pleasure of dealing with and Mike was as patient and honest as one could ever hope to work with!

The car arrived this week and HOLY CRAP! It was as described and more! But beyond the sale, Mike has continued to help me, he has answered every question I've had, offered advice and has become a new friend.

I truly believe if you are looking to buy a 66/67 SS, Mike is your guy! Arnold Palmer knows Golf, Ali knows Boxing, Bill Gates knows computers and Mike "KNOWS CHEVELLE’S”!
Carl G. (CA)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike,
They delivered the car this afternoon and it is exactly what I have been looking for! It is exactly as described and more! A Very Very nice Black 66 SS!! We took it out on a nearby turnpike for a spin and it hauls!!! Drives like new too!  Like the McDonalds ad says, "I'm Loving It!"  Thanks for your persistence and patience and for keeping me informed as we searched for just the right car, you did it again.
L.S. (OK)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike,
I can never repay you for all of the great knowledge so my words will have to suffice. THANK YOU!  I love your cars... and I would love to step up to something like your black car... holy cow what a fine piece.
Have a blessed day.

Mike,
Just wanted to thank you again for helping me with my first muscle car purchase. After searching many styles and makes, and deciding on a Chevelle, I had to narrow it down to a particular year since they changed the body styles every few years. I finally decided on the 66-67 body style, which I especially liked. So after doing numerous searches on various search engines, I saw "mysterychevelle.com". And am I glad I clicked on it. You helped me understand the difference between a true SS, a Malibu, a clone, and what the differences were and the pros and cons in buying one. You helped me find a car that was within my budget and that I could slowly make my own over time. Your contacts and resources helped make my purchase less stressful and prevented me from flying or driving all over the east coast to do it. You put me in touch with one of your contacts who had already seen and driven my future car which made my trip to see and drive the car easier and less stressful. The result is now in my garage! Its my Marina Blue 66 SS photographed in my driveway and now under your Sold Photos. I look forward in continuing our friendship as I use your expertise in upgrading my car. Thanks again for all your help and giving me the confidence to find/buy the right car for me.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike,
My Black 66 L78 arrived here on Thursday. The car is gorgeous!!! I want to thank you so much for helping me find this car and getting it to me, as you know it was no easy task! This is exactly what I was wanting. My brother-in-law Bob told me that you can not place an order for a used car, but you know what, it sure looks like I did. My wife Vickie and Bob both said., "this is your dream car" and that is the truth.

I hope someday we get to meet in person., at a show or a convention or somewhere but for now: Thanks again for a job well done. I got your FACT BOOK and that should tell me everything I need to know about the 66 Chevelle. I will keep in touch with you and let you know how things are going.
Cheers... Steve (IN)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Mike, just wanted to once again thank you for all you did in helping me find my Regal Red 1966 Chevelle SS! In today's world it is hard to find someone you can trust, especially since we never met in person, but your reputation and knowledge of these cars helped me trust you and ultimately make the decision to purchase it.

As you know, I was nervous to buy a car from another state, but you lead me through it step by step, always there for me, answered all my emails and phone calls and everything went smoothly. It was a great day for me and my family when that truck showed up with my car and we watched them unload it. Wow!  My family and I will have a great deal of fun going to different cruises and riding around in such a nice car.  I would recommend you for anyone looking for a Chevelle.
Thanks again!
Bob (PA)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Mike, I indeed need to apologize for the late follow up regarding my purchase of the Red '98 Corvette Convertible, but I wanted to share my thoughts. The Corvette was certainly "as advertised" if not better. Showroom fresh is the only word to describe it and though it was a tad above my budget, one look and I was convinced that you don't walk away and ponder such a car since the chances of finding another in that pristine condition and mileage, well they just defy odds and statistics..

Your devotion to the Chevy and Chevelle lines and your insistence on only dealing with those from the "top shelf" was apparent. My wife insisted that my friend and former mechanic accompany me to ensure that I not be blinded by the simple love of cars that I have at times, its happened. During my weeks of looking and during the hunt, several cars were passed over for some very subtle yet critical flaws, but after an examination of this Corvette, my mechanic suddenly let down his "poker face" and with a huge grin just said "this is the one".
Thanks again,
Ed (NJ)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike, I wanted to take this time and thank you for helping this ole baby boomer get an early Christmas present. Being a muscle car guy all of my teenage and early adulthood days I thought I knew cars pretty well. Having owned a 1966 SS 396/375HP I felt especially knowledgeable about them, that is until we met.

Your extreme knowledge of how, when and where these cars were originally produced made it obvious to me that I needed to use your services in identifying a car. When people buy jewelry they always have them verified, then why not an expensive collector car? After searching on my own for nearly a year and coming across lots of cars for too much money I was fortunate enough to come across your website. The rest is history.

Buying a car from out of state sight unseen is no easy decision. Your expertise and exposure in the Chevelle world made it easier for me to take that plunge. I'm so happy I did. The car, the process and the delivery far exceeded what I thought I was getting. Admittedly, I was very nervous during the entire process but when that car rolled off that transporter I knew I had made the right decision. Even today when I walk around the 67 I can't believe how lucky I got. Man she's beautiful. The Red 67 SS is exactly what I was looking for and then some!

Thanks again and stay in touch. I'm going back now to my garage and pinch myself!
Charlie (CA)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Mike,
I just wanted to say thank you for all you have done in helping me find my 1966 Chevelle SS. It's been almost a year since we started the process. I remember telling you I needed a car that was restored because I did not have the time to do it myself. You showed me many restored cars. And finally this past Monday a truck came to my house to drop off my long awaited 66 SS true 13817 Mist Blue black interior. That's the pic of it on your site under "Sold". I could not be happier it was everything you told me and more. Thanks again and I would recommend you to to anyone looking for 66 or 67 Chevelles!
Vince (NJ)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Mike,
Thanks so much for your incredible help in my search to finally put a '67 Chevelle SS back in my garage after many years. Your patience with what may have seemed like my constantly evolving requirements and wants was so very much appreciated. You showed me an amazing number of cars--but never pressured me or even seemed to mind when this one or that one wasn't quite right or when I couldn't make up my mind. It took a long time to find just the right car, at just the right price, but we did--and it was worth it. Your deep knowledge of these cars was appreciated, as was your understanding of every step to take in the process of buying an out-of-state car to ensure all was on the up-and-up. I was also grateful that you were able to arrange transportation across the country, quickly, safely, and at a very reasonable rate. The Mountain Green 67 SS has found a Good Home as you always say!
Thank you,
Ron (CA)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey Mike, Just wanted to thank you again for all your help. You know that owning another 66 Chevelle has been a dream of mine for a long time and I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate all your help in realizing that dream! You probably never expected all the emails and phone calls and you were terrific and patient in answering all of them. I have and will continue to refer other interested parties to you regarding finding their "perfect" car! You told me that all I had to do was send you my "requirements" in a car and my budget numbers and together we would find MY car and you REALLY came through for me. ALSO, the follow up help in getting the car to me (from Wisconsin to Alabama) was invaluable as I would have had NO idea as to how to accomplish this feat. The wife and I are loving riding around in the new "old" 66 and watching the looks and thumbs up we're getting for this beauty. Have a car show planned for this weekend! Thanks again and if there is ever anyway I can help you, please just ask!
Tim (AL)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Mike, the driver showed up around 10:45 last night and we helped him get the new Chevelle unloaded and into the garage under a light sprinkle. As the Tubes sing in a great 80's song... "SHE'S A BEAUTY!!!!".  Wow, what a gorgeous Black paint job, she looks like it's 1967 and she just rolled out of the dealership. LOVE IT!!!
Thanks again for everything, I'm extremely happy and can die a happy, peaceful man now!!!  ;-)
Rory (MN)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike:
Just wanted to send you a quick follow-up note regarding the Aztec Bronze 66 SS you are selling and our very impromptu visit. My wife and I can't say enough about how hospitable you were in giving us the time to come see the car today. From meeting us when we got lost to taking us for an incredible ride, to truly educating us on what we need to be looking for as we search for our own dream Chevelle. The fact that you would give us so much of your time knowing that our budget is not such that we can afford your car... Speaks volumes for who you are.  You told me the car was very nice but I really didn't expect it to be as nice as it is.  Wow!! Now I see why it's priced as it is... Worth every penny and then some., I just need more pennies! Good luck with your sale., it's gorgeous! Thank you for the time and the Free Fact Book too.
Robert (DEL)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike,
I just wanted to say “thank you” for all of your help finding and purchasing my ’67 Chevelle SS. Unfortunately, when we found the right car (a Marina Blue ‘67 SS at a great price) it was gone before I had a chance to buy it. A day later you sent me an email indicating that you found out who purchased it and in fact knew the person who bought the car and that he was willing to let me have it as a favor to you. I couldn’t believe it! You do know everybody!  This private collector saw it as a great deal too and the fact that he was immediately willing to let it go to someone YOU were working with says a lot about your credibility and the relationships you’ve built over the years. Beyond that, another big “thank you” for all the help getting the car to NJ and ongoing help and advice to get the car to be the best that it can be. Seriously couldn’t have done it without your help. I wasn’t shy about emailing you with dozens of questions and you always responded with great insight and guidance.  You know your stuff! It was my first Chevelle purchase and you made it a great experience!
Gary (NJ)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike,
We have been friends for quite a while, in fact, it was through a Chevelle that
we were introduced. Since that time I have watched you take your Passion
and quest for perfection and become THE respected authority of 1966-67
Chevelles. It was a difficult decision to sell my yellow 66, however, I
knew when the time came, you would be the one to assist me. You have
been fair in discussing a market value from a sellers standpoint as well as
an advocate for the purchaser. You are a true professional and remove a
lot of uncertainty for the seller and purchaser of these great cars. Once
again, thank you for representing my Chevelle!
David (TN)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike,
I want to thank you for bringing to our attention our most recent purchase;
an outstanding, low mileage, Red/Red '67 SS. I especially want to thank you
for the "clearing house" service you provide to the Chevelle SS enthusiasts
community; both buyers and sellers alike. Without your help I would never
have known of this car. As buyers most of us need an advocate because we do
not have the time or resources to locate and authenticate these cars
ourselves. Although there are other venues where we can buy these cars, it
is your reputation for integrity, honesty, candor and knowledge about these
cars that compels me to consider only those cars that make it to your
website. When you put a car on your website I am confident that it has been
authenticated and is exactly what you say it is. When you say a car is the
"real deal", a buyer can "take it to the bank" as the old saying goes. I
have bought two cars I found on your website and when I saw them in person
there were no surprises. No "buyers remorse" here.
Thanks, Mike!
Lee (OK)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike
Just a quick note to once again say, Thank you! When I asked if you could help me find a buyer for my Red 67 SS, I knew you could do it but I never expected you would do it in 5 days. You really know these cars., you asked a lot of questions and you stayed in constant contact with me throughout but most importantly you found a new home for my prized possession and I couldn't be happier.
Regards
Sam (TN)

Mike:
As an enthusiast of muscle cars, I have owned 30 collector cars and several 66/67 SS Chevelles.  Although I love these cars, I have always had a dislike for the buying and selling process. Simply, there are too many crooks in the hobby, both dealers and sadly individuals, who either have no scruples, misrepresent, or just don’t know how to accurately gauge the quality of a car.  For example, for the average buyer purchasing a car sight unseen would not be a wise move. Even when you see the car, there can be a number of hidden problems. That is, unless, the buyer is dealing with a proven professional locator/seller who has impeccable references. That describes Mike Crown.  A recognized Chevelle expert who is honest, straight talking, and fair minded. Mikes evaluation of a Chevelle and his purchase recommendation are invaluable.
I can say without question that if not for Mike and his unique understanding and handling of a sight unseen buyers concerns, the recent sale of my 67 Chevelle to the new California owner would not have transpired as smoothly or as quickly, if at all, in a very difficult market.
Thanks Mike!
Tom (NJ)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike,
My wife and I just got home yesterday from Colorado with our new (new to us anyway) '66 Aztec Bronze SS396. The car was exactly as you described it on your web site. There were no surprises when we saw it in person. So many times, these old cars are not what they are represented to be. To say I am pleased with our purchase would be an understatement. Buying a car without seeing it in person first can be very stressful. However, knowing your reputation and the knowledge you have regarding '66 and '67 SS Chevelles; when you said the car was the "real deal", true matching number car and not a re-stamp, gave me the confidence to make a solid offer on the car sight-unseen!
I would not hesitate to purchase another car off your site knowing I would be getting exactly what is advertised and that the price has been arrived at after careful analysis and research.
I want to thank you for your patience, honesty, integrity and candor with both seller and buyer when describing and setting a price on the cars that make it to your web site.
Thanks!
Lee (OK)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello Mike,
I just wanted to say thanks again for being the "catalyst" in the purchase
of my 1966 Chevelle SS. As you know, I had been looking pretty hard since May of this year, "lurking" on all the Chevelle Blog sites, scouring all the advertisements, trying to decide which way to go.
When I contacted you initially, I did not have an idea how or if you would
respond. After our 45 plus minute conversation, however, I can say that I got the answers I needed to help me move forward and commit to making a purchase just hours later.
Your honesty and passion for these truly wonderful muscle cars is inspiring. I hope to be able to get to that level one day, and I know from looking at your website and talking to you it's done one bolt at a time.
Best,
Erik P (TX)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Mike,
I just wanted to send an e-mail to say Thank You for helping my friend Bill. He is in a tight spot now with the economy not improving and uncertainty with his job. When he called me, he asked my opinion and I thought of you right away.
I read about your Danube Blue 66 again and it is really a fantastic story. Your car is absolutely beautiful and I love the color. There are a lot of self proclaimed experts in this hobby, but I hold you in very high regard. You have a passion for the 66 Chevelle Super Sports and you have obviously dedicated a big portion of your free time to researching, learning and sharing your knowledge with others in the hobby. You care a lot about these cars and it shows. We need more Mike Crowns in the hobby. Again,, Thank You again for helping my friend Bill with evaluation of his 66 SS. I really appreciate it and I know he did as well!
Best Regards,
Tory ( NY)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey Mike,
Thanks again for all your help in getting me my Mountain Green 67 SS.
Your vast knowledge and foremost, your integrity, made my purchase
a lot less stressful. Also, your help getting the car delivered was priceless..
Hope to buy another one some day and I'm sure you will be helping make it happen...
Thanks
Ed M (PA)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike, thank you so much for your help in selling my car. With this bad economy, it is a daunting task to sell a high dollar vehicle. It was because of your reputation that I was able to sell my Madiera Maroon 67 SS convertible as quickly and as well as I did. The purchaser said that he never spends a lot of money without first going to see a car in person, but in this case he didn't come to see it because of your HONESTY when describing this particular car. I will be sure to contact you when the time comes to sell my other Chevelles. Thank you again.
Butch (NJ)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I contacted Mike to handle the sale of my '69 Baldwin Motion PhaseIII L78
because I knew of his affection for 66/67 Chevelles and had a reputation for
getting quality cars good homes... I was really pleased to find out from the very beginning that dealing with Mike was like dealing with an old buddy who would watch out for your back and take the time to bounce ideas off you to help sell the car to the right person... Mike went beyond just helping me sell the car... he also along with his brother gave me a hand getting the car ready for sale, since I was just tied up with business at the time.... In the end I made a cool friend, who has the coolest '66 SS396 around..........The only downside is I'll probably have to buy Mike Brooklyn bagels for life.... Thanks Doc....
Joe G (NY)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike,
Thank you for the invaluable service you do for the 66/67 Chevelle World. Your knowledge and care for the sale of the best cars makes you stand out above the rest. It was a pleasure to work with you on the sale of the 66 I bought. The time you took out to answer all my questions. And give me more information on the 66 Chevelle than I ever knew was priceless. Keep up the excellent work and add one more "VERY HAPPY BUYER" to your Chevelle family!
Thanks So Much,
Scott & Patty (MN)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike, just sending you a few pictures of the new 66! It just arrived and it's nicer than it was represented as. Thanks again for finding me another., you know a Red 66 is just my style! Sad when a Chevelle arrives so clean and you have nothing to do to them, Just add an air freshener and drive. (Priceless)
Joe L (NH)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I began my journey for my dream car like most, get on the internet and research. I had found a car that looked promising. I posted photos of the car on a Chevelle forum and was given quite a bit of good advice from Mike and other forum members that this was likely not what it was advertised as. There are many clones out there being sold as true SS cars and the forum members helped smoke out this imposter. It was then that I received an email from one of Mike’s former clients who told me about how he might be able to help me. I contacted Mike and so it began. It’s not often that you're buying a car cross country without ever hearing it or driving it, yet under Mike’s consultation and guidance that’s just what I did. All the stress I had experienced while going it on my own was completely dissipated. I really felt like Mike had my back. He found me a 67 and had an acquaintance who lived in the area of the private seller. This friend went out and saw the car, took pictures and drove it, all reporting back to me. This was the one! I want to thank Mike for making this such an easy and pleasurable experience.
Doug (CA)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike,
I wanted to take a minute to tell you just how much I appreciate your assistance with the purchase of my new 66SS. Buying a car long distance and sight-unseen is always a bit unsettling. Through your long list of contacts and friends you were able to send a knowledgeable Chevelle person local to the car to inspect it and report his findings, as well as photos, back to you. Although I had no reason to doubt the drive train as being original as the seller was representing it to be, you can never be too careful. Your expertise and knowledge in verifying the numbers as original and correct is Priceless! Not only that, but even after I told you what I was willing to pay for the car you negotiated with the seller in my favor saving me thousands over what I was prepared to pay. You really went to work for me! I can not imagine ever buying another 66 or 67 SS without you. This is not the first Chevelle you have helped me with, and it won't be the last! Thank you!
Jacquie (OK)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike,
I would like to thank you for finding a buyer so quickly for my Chevelle. From the time I decided to sell the car and contact you…to the time it actually sold was less than 24 hours! That has to be a record of sorts..even for you!
The whole process was almost effortless and almost stress free. You are known as the “go to” guy when it comes to 1966 and 1967 Chevelles, with a large network of people that are actively searching for the Chevelle of their dreams….or looking for a buyer for their cherished ride. They can’t go wrong using you to aid them in their search or their sale…as your knowledge is phenomenal.
I also appreciate all of the advice and recommendations that you gave me during the process…as selling cars is not something I do every day. I hope that the new owner of my Chevelle gets as much driving enjoyment out of it as I did. I value your friendship…and all the advice you gave to me over the years was appreciated as well.
Bruce B (AZ)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Mike,
Just dropping you a note to say thank you for helping me find a buyer for our Chevelle. We here at L.I.P. Collision have proven over the years that we can build, restore, repair, and maintain award winning vehicles. I have also learned that doing the work on the cars is only part of the equation. Having an outlet for the sale of such vehicles is equally important. I felt that the Chevelle we completed would stand on its own merits, that one look would sell the car. Well, it takes more than that. Just as in home sales, you need someone to weed thru prospects and find the QUALIFIED buyers. The same is true for cars. That takes proper presentation by someone who has the credentials. Mike, that is clearly you. Within a few hours of listing the Chevelle on your site you were receiving inquires about the car. After a few days serious offers came in. One the offers as you know, I accepted. Your work made the sale painless (except a bit of sorrow seeing the car leave!). I made a new friend in you and I look forward to working with you in the future.
Thanks,
Mark M (PA)

Dear Mike,
It seems in the classic car hobby that how successful you are depends on how long you are in the sport and how hard you work at it. The longer you are around the more opportunity you have to find knowledgeable people that can help you enjoy the sport and the experience of owning a classic car. Such has been my experience with you and the Mystery Chevelle web site. I was able to connect with a number of people, suppliers, vendors, and other Chevelle enthusiasts through you and it saved me a ton of time searching the internet, and I met some great people. I also became much more knowledgeable about 66 and 67 Chevelles through you, your web site and the Fact CD. When I made the decision to sell my 67 Chevelle SS convertible, the choice was easy. We both know there are a multitude of options for listing and selling a classic car across the country. I did not have time to field calls, send pictures, and explain and document the fine points of the car. I also did not want to get into a bidding war with sales people that wanted to list the car for far above market value just to get it on their site so it could set there for months. I appreciated the methodical approach you took in getting to know the car inside and out, and in being careful to represent the car honestly and correctly. We agreed on an asking price that was realistic and after about 30 days of discussion decided to place the car on your site. You did a great job of describing the car, choosing the right pictures, and in talking to the people that inquired about it. As we both know the car sold in two days. I would not hesitate to purchase a car off your site knowing I would be getting exactly what is advertised and that the price has been arrived at after careful consideration and research. I felt privileged to have you represent my car as I know you only work with a few cars at a time and that you are very particular about what you place on your site. Thanks for everything and feel free to use me as a reference for both buyers and sellers in the future. I am sure there is another Chevelle in my future and it will likely come from www.mysterychevelle.com.

Hi Mike,
Sorry for not letting you know how it all went with the Aztec Bronze 66 SS Chevelle you helped me with .The car looks fantastic ,drives beautifully and every thing works. When buying a car all the way from Australia without seeing the car, can be very stressful especially when looking for a real deal SS.With your knowledge and help made the buying more reassuring that I was getting what I wanted.
Thanks Again
Regards
Mark (Australia)

Mike,
Thanks so much for all of your help and advice with the recent sale of my 1966 Chevelle SS. Although, I consider myself a bit of an afficiando after having done several restorations, your help and advice was still INVALUABLE. I particularly appreciated you running interference on screening calls from potential buyers as that saved me a great deal of time and frustration. I was amazed at how quickly you were able to match up a buyer with my car, and you were super at facilitating that entire process. I know the buyer felt the same way. I'm a bit sad I won't be talking with you regularly now that my baby is gone, but who knows, maybe I'll get the 'itch' again some day!

Mike:
I really appreciate all your help in representing my 66 SS on your site! I am confident that it went to a good home and it was hassle free, as you said it would be. Thanks for proving to me and everyone else that the good ones still bring the money!
James L (MS)

Mike,
Now that I have owned my ’66 Chevelle for a couple of weeks, I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the time and effort you put into working with me. It is not my first old car, but it is my first Chevelle. You played a key role in teaching me about these cars and helping me get a quality car without flying all over the nation just to be repeatedly disappointed by empty promises.
Your knowledge of these things is phenomenal. That level of experience does not happen over night; it comes with lots of hard work, sweat, and I suspect a few skinned knuckles. Thanks for sharing your experience with me. Moreover, thank you for guiding me to a quality Chevelle for my family.
Reese (CA)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike ,
You are on top of your game with everything from honesty to knowledge and I really like what you have done with technology to help people find the right car. When I think of all the money I wasted sending people to look at cars for me or going myself just to be disappointed.. sad! Having a guy like you in my corner was what I needed years ago...in fact it would have saved someone like me probably 10 grand and wasted time. Thank you for all you do to help people. You are a credit to the hobby. I do not throw those words around lightly!
Dave L (AZ)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike, as you are aware I recently sold my LS 6 at the Mecum Spring Auction. This is the car that you turned me onto that was owned by Dave in TN. Your description of the car was dead on and your testimonial as to Dave's character was very accurate. All and all everything you said was correct. In this day and age, in our hobby, it is refreshing to find individuals like yourself and Dave that say what they mean and mean what they say...
If not for you I would have never found and bought the car.
Best regards,
Don (GA)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks Mike. I will keep your opinion in confidence., and I'll keep looking lol. =) Nice to know that you have as many contacts as you do, you saved me yet again! "Long distance" expert opinion...PRICELESS!
Thanks,
Joe ( NH )

Mike:
Got the car today and all I can say is it is better than it was represented to be. Mark was great to work with, the transport company was a half a day ahead of schedule and I could not have asked for more. I owe you a great deal of thanks for finding this car and getting me the necessary information to make it happen. I will get you pictures over the weekend. It has been my pleasure to deal with such an honest and honorable person as yourself.

Hello Mike, I have seen your name a lot and even met you once at Maple Grove for the Super Chevy event a couple of years ago.. I absolutely LOVE the car you are now offering. It is gorgeous and I'm sure done Right!! The price seems like a near STEAL for all that is done. I believe you are the foremost authority on '66 Chevelle SS's, and I have a question for you. Thanks,
Steve (PA)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About 3 years ago I started looking for a 66 Chevelle. Being an old gear head from the 60's and 70's, I had my heart set on a red on red SS396. My wife and I made several trips down south to view these framed off and framed on beauties only to be disappointed by what some people call No. 1 and No. 2 cars. Not to mention the cost of round trip plane fares. A friend of mine from New York suggested that I contact "MYSTERYCHEVELLE". I emailed "Mystery Chevelle" and the rest is history. Mike Crown helped find the Right car for me. Through his numerous contacts throughout the country, when I found a car I was interested in Mike would call one of his contacts and in some cases his friends looked at the car and gave me a heads up on its condition, saving me the air fare if the car was misrepresented.
I appreciate all Mike's help as well as his extensive knowledge of Chevelles and want to thank him for all he has done for me.
Pete (Boston, MA)

Mike,
We made it home with "Sandy" - whew that was a long haul. I wanted to let you know that we are VERY happy. This is an incredible car, EVERYTHING YOU SAID and more...Engine compartment, interior, undercarriage...all are very impressive!
Anyway, just wanted to let you know the 66 is here and say thank you again for helping us acquire this outstanding Chevelle! With your help the purchase was fast and easy with no surprises. We have been invited to take a car to the Concour de Elegance at the Governors Mansion Sept 23 and this is the one we'll be taking ;).
All the Best,
Jacquie (OK)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike thanks a lot for arranging viewing both cars. Having someone's eyes reassures me so much when you can't see them yourself. As Peter says, you
are the god of TEAM CHEVELLE and to the world of the Super Sport. Now
don't start crying when reading that, Ha Ha. If you are ever in New England please look us up.
Am looking forward to seeing the car and will update you when it arrives. Tell Bruce thanks very much.
Regards,
John (NH)

Mike, I just got off the phone with Tom. He gave me very detailed information about the car. I feel this is the one we have been looking for. I wanted to thank you again for what you have done and will get back to you with your advice on how to get the car to me. Tom seems like a great person, one I feel comfortable to deal with. I will keep in touch and follow up with you after I get the car. Again I thank you. j
